Aromatherapy Products Improve Mood and Relax your Body   by Anne Harvester

Aromatherapy is an easy to implement method of therapy that may help to improve your mood and relax your body. You can add wonderful scent to your home and body through the use of aromatherapy supplies such as aromatherapy oils, an aromatherapy diffuser, massage oils, hand and body lotions, bath oils and laundry bags.

Aromatherapy essential oils are derived from plants and are distilled to derive the essential scent of the plant. Used on their own or in an aromatherapy diffuser, these can be applied directly to you body or heated to fill an entire room with fragrance. There are other uses for oils within aromatherapy products such as vegetable oils and lotions for the skin, massage oils and as moisterizers.

There are many aromatherapy accessories that you can use on your person or in any room of your home or office to infuse the area with the scent of your choice. You might want to try a personal size diffuser. These are tiny vials filled with a few drops of
aromatherapy oils that are worn like a necklace, bringing the sweet scents easily to your nose. You can also scent a room through the use of a diffuser that heats the oil by means of a tea light candle, a light bulb or a tiny electric heater. Some of the electric varieties of diffusers also come with a small fan, so that the scent can be distributed around a larger room area easily. Other aromatherapy accessories include lamp rings. These ceramic rings fit over the top of a light bulb, into which you place a few drops of Essential Oil. The heat from the bulb releases the scent into the room.

Aromatherapy supplies such as hand, body and massage oils all benefit from the addition of aromatherapy oils. Imagine a stressful day at the office, but then you pull out of your purse or desk drawer a bottle of hand and body lotion containing essential oils, and smooth it on your hands. The heat of your body will help to release the fragrance, giving your spirits a quick boost. Other aromatherapy products such as massage oil will be a wonderful addition to your next treatment. As your muscles relax, the fragrance is released from the massage oil, adding another layer of sensory pleasure to the experience.

Aromatherapy supplies such as fabric bags are used to contain herbs and essential oils which can be placed in a hot bath in order to release the scent. Other aromatherapy products that you might like to try include dryer bags. These bags come prefilled with herbs and essential oils, and all you do is toss them in the dryer with your clothes in order to waft delicious scent through your clothing.
